Straigt

Straight pull

In the most basic recovery scenario you get stuck and will be in a position to place the stuck and will be in a position to place the winch straight ahead. The winch anchor allows you to position the line and provide sufficient cable length for an optimal pull.

Multi

Multiple Anchors

In situations where recovery of a vehicle is impossible with only a single Pull-Eez, for example in heavy mud, additional anchors can be used. The anchors must be separated by approximately 10 degrees and should be connected with a strap, chain or cable to a central snatch

Coutered

Countered pull across a side slope

When transversing across a sidehill or slope, one of the vehicles may go off the trail and/ or start sliding downhil. In this scenario attempts to pull the vehicles back on to the trail or further forward, by pulling them straight ahead, might result in them sliding further downhill. As per the above diagram you can prevent the vehicle from sliding further downhill by using a second line.  The vehicle on the right pulls the vehicle on the left of the diagram whilst the vehicle on the left gives away with its winch. The Pull-Eez will stabilize the front of the vehicle on the left

Anchored

Anchored pull

When a recovery vehicle is also standing on loose and unstable ground and at dangerous angles it must be stabilized before any recovery can attempted. For this reason the back of the recovery vehicle is attached to a Pull-Eez in order to stabilize it. After this has been done winching can commence.

Angle

Angeld pull with a snatch block

When a straight pull is not possible, for ex-ample when an obstruction is in the way, the Pull-Eez anchor system with a snatch block attached can be used. This technique will enable recovery without positioning the recovery vehicle above the stuck vehicle. This will prevent the pulling vehicle from sliding down into the stuck vehicle and resultantly being drawn into a hazardous position on treacherous terrain.
